v. What is Radial Shockwave?
Radial Shockwave(RSW) Therapy is a non-invasive treatment which uses low energy acoustic wave pulsations directly applied to the site of injury. RSW can help break down calcification and scar tissues within soft tissues, increasing vascularisation of the injured area, and stimulating the release of natural cellular substances to help block pain sensations. vi. What conditions can Radial Shockwave Treat and How many sessions will I need?
RSW has been proven to be highly effective in treating chronic conditions such as Plantar Fascitis, Achilles Tedonitis, Calcific Tendonitis in the shoulder and knee, and trigger point muscle release. Most people will only require 3 sessions. Very Chronic cases may require an additional 1-2 treatments. The body is then allowed time to heal and rebuild the injured tissues over the next 6-8 weeks. Maximum results are seen at this time. Read more about Radial Shockwave here.
