  • How long are each physiotherapy sessions?

    Typically each treatment session can range from 30-60 minutes, depending on the injury.

  • Where are you located?

    We are located across the street from Central Park in Burnaby on Kingsway, minutes away from Metrotown Mall and Patterson Skytrain Station.

  • Where can I park?

    There is FREE underground parking and FREE street parking on Jersey Avenue. Underground parking access is on the east side of Jersey Avenue.

  • What is Radial Shockwave Therapy?

    Radial Shockwave (RSW) Therapy is a non-invasive treatment which uses low energy acoustic wave pulsations directly applied to the site of injury. RSW can help break down calcification and scar tissues within soft tissues, increasing vascularisation of the injured area, and stimulating the release of natural cellular substances to help block pain sensations.

  • Will my extended benefits cover physiotherapy?

    Many extended benefit plans do cover physiotherapy. Our office can directly bill most major extended benefit plans on your behalf (such as Chambers of Commerce, ClaimSecure, Great West Life, GroupHEALTH, GroupSource, Industrial Alliance, Johnson Inc., Johnston Group Inc., Manulife, Maximum Benefit, Sun Life Financial, Green Shield, SSQ Insurance, Empire Life, Pacific Blue Cross). Please contact our office if you have any questions regarding direct billing.

  • Do I need a doctor’s referral?

    You do not need a doctor's referral to see a physiotherapist. You may be required to submit a doctors referral to your extended health benefits depending on your plan. You do not need a doctors referral for ICBC.

  • Does your office bill ICBC?

    If you have an ICBC claim number, our office can directly bill ICBC for you. For ICBC, if your motor vehicle accident is over 12 weeks from the date of the accident, please contact our office so we can contact ICBC for pre-approval.

  • Does your office bill WSBC?

    If you have a WSBC claim number, our office can directly bill WSBC for you. For WSBC, if your accident is over 60 days from the date of the accident, please contact our office so we can contact WSBC for pre-approval.

  • Does MSP cover my physiotherapy?

    Medical Services Plan will cover 10 visits per year for some individuals. Please call us to check whether you are eligible for MSP coverage under your care card.

  • How do I know how much I am covered for?

    You can find out the details of your coverage by contacting your extended health carrier. This can be done either online or over the phone. Your employer may also be able to provide you with this information. Because of the confidential nature of your coverage, we do not have access to any information pertaining to your specific coverage or limits.

  • What is a deductible?

    A deductible is an “activation fee” that must be met at the beginning of your plan’s fiscal year. This amount is set by your insurance provider, and must be paid before your benefits kick in. For inquiries regarding your deductible, please contact your carrier.
